THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE A STARTUP

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE A STARTUP Home career THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE A STARTUPcareerTHINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE A STARTUPBy Harsh Gaur - September 22, 201612580Facebook Knowledge without its practical implications is as worthless as a body without a soul. If you have an idea to change the world around you and knowledge to create it and make money through it, you should go for a startup. Nowadays it has become necessary for an individual to earn a handsome amount of money to live an optimum lifestyle and for that, there should be a source of the money. Most of the people prefer business for the same reason.“It doesn’t matter what you do. What matters is how differently you do it from others…”A business needs an idea that may be new completely or a revised and evolved a version of currently existing one. Although it seems an easy task to start a business but there are few things one should keep in mind before any startup.PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE AND ITS GROWTH POTENTIAL Contents hide 1 PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE AND ITS GROWTH POTENTIAL 2 RESOURCES 3 TIMING 4 RISK FACTORS 5 KNOW YOUR COMPETITORS First of all, you should stick to the idea of what you really want to start your business with. Suppose you are about to start your business by setting up a factory which manufactures smart watches, then first you have to learn everything about what kind of smart watch the market really needs. You should also consider the new features that you are going to add to your smart watch that would leave every other smart watch behind yours, this would help you to judge the growth potential of your gadget i.e. how long it is going to survive in the market. The first step is all about setting up a goal. Everything you do should be according to principles. For best result, you should consider the SMART rule for business.RESOURCESOnce the goal is all set, next thing you need to do is to prepare a list of your resources. Before ruling the market you should review it very deeply, and this reviewing inclu des things such as WHICH IS the BEST MARKET TO LAUNCH MY PRODUCT? HOW MUCH SHOULD I INVEST IN MY PROJECT? WHERE CAN I GET THE BEST QUALITY RAW MATERIAL FOR MY PROJECT THAT WOULD SUIT MY POCKET TOO? You should find answers to these questions before investing or else a blind amount of money would be wasted for no good reason.TIMINGIn every business, timing plays an important part in its survival in the market. You have to work hard and smart within deadlines. The people who are going to work with you should take responsibility to cover the task given to them in the given time or else every day the workload would increase and finally you have to stop your startup because of insufficient supply of your product to the market. It is important that you should not let your love for what you are doing, to die. You should work in a team and be optimistic all the time. It is also important to launch your product at right time. Suppose you want to launch your brand new umbrella then the best ti me would be before the monsoon. If your timing mismatches and you launch it in winters, then it is of no use. Clearly, you have to wait for a whole year and maybe till then you may become bank corrupt.    RISK FACTORSBefore starting a business you should also consider the risks associated with it. You should have at least two backup plans in case something goes wrong with your business. You should take risks sometime and play a wild card in your business when you think there are possibilities of something good to happen. It is good to keep a mentor or different mentors that would help you and guide you to know your mistakes and let you know new strategies but first you should keep calm and try your own common sense to evolve a solution.KNOW YOUR COMPETITORSBefore the world’s renowned company “Apple” was setup, Microsoft was ruling the world of technology. Apple wanted to reach out to every individual around the globe and facilitate them with their product and its simplicity. Once they got ahead of Microsoft and were ruling in the market, they started increasing the cost of their product and people were comfortable with it. Things like this tell us that it doesn’t matter what product you are going to make, all it takes is just one simple idea that can take you ahead of your competitors. Before setting up the price tag for your product, you should observe the market. Sometimes it is necessary to lower the selling price and go for a little loss in order to create an image among the customers like Apple did.  To know about latest startup ideas go to the links below:https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/232649http://fundersandfounders.com/how-to-start-a-startup/ http://paulgraham.com/start.htmlBest books to read before starting a business Built to last by Jim Collins You can sell by Shiv Khera Blue ocean strategy by Chan Kim and ReneeTAGSStart upStart Up Tips

Wedding dress shops in London boosted by Fashion Week Finding the best wedding dress shops in London is not always an easy task though it could be helped by attending when Fashion Week is in progress. A trip to London to find a wedding dress is never going to be a wasted opportunity since there is a broad range of shops offering the latest styles and trends for a bride’s big day and if they dont find something suitable on their trip then they will be inspired when searching closer to home. The city centre is not just the best place to find wedding dress outlets but there are also some excellent bridal boutiques further afield including places like Notting Hill, Wimbledon and Fulham. Capital also plays host to the London Bridal Show Dont forget too, the capital also plays host to the London Bridal Show which is held every March at the Olympia and prides itself for offering the very best in bridal fashion. Indeed, its not just bride that are catered for by the shows organisers with menswear, accessories and occasion wear also available for anyone organising their wedding day. However, the bridal show offers potential brides a chance to find the dress of their dreams with a massive range of beautiful bridal gowns from exhibitors on show. There are more than 300 collections on offer to suit a wide variety of budgets and tastes with some of the industry’s leading fashion designers offering their latest creations. The number of wedding dress shops in London Attending something like a show on this scale will help limit the number of wedding dress shops that the bride will need to visit in a bid to find their dream outfit because this will be a once in a lifetime purchase for many. It should also be appreciated that overseas visitors looking for the latest in wedding dresses also head to the capital and the organisers of the bridal show say that around 22% of their audience comes from abroad. British wedding dress designers In addition, various overseas trade associations and magazines also make the effort to visit the show to see what trends are emerging and then report enthusiastically about what British wedding dress designers are doing. Other bridal fashion shows take place around the world but the city plays host to a large number of the industry’s leading designers and their creations inspire others to follow in their footsteps; its always a good idea to visit the capital to see what is on offer because the emerging trends here will end up appearing in wedding dress shops around the world in a short time. Business Car Rental Advice Things to Consider

Business Car Rental Advice â€" Things to Consider The cost of buying and running a car these days can be extremely high. That’s why many businesses, especially start-ups, opt for the rental avenue instead. However, before you rush into business car rentals, it’s worth doing your homework. While there are many advantages to renting out a business car, there are also a few downsides you need to consider. Below you’ll discover the best advice to follow when looking into business car rentals. Consider the initial payment Renting a business car through your business can bring numerous benefits, but if you’re s start-up it may not be the best move. That’s because start-up business car rentals will have different terms to those of an established business. There will likely be an increased initial payment you need to make and you may need to provide bank statements and audited accounts before you’re accepted. If you do manage to get a good deal however and you’re VAT registered, it would provide a few benefits. In some cases, start-up businesses could benefit more from leasing a car personally, rather than via their business. Add up the total costs and be aware of tax exemptions Renting a car is no doubt more affordable than buying one outright, but you do need to factor in all costs before choosing the right model for your business. As well as the initial payment, you should also consider the following when deciding whether you can afford it: Monthly repayments Cost of running Obviously you need to know how much it’s going to cost you to keep the car on the road. It’s also worth looking at investing in comprehensive insurance if you’re going to be driving the car for business quite frequently. How it will affect your tax is also something you’re going to need to look into. You can find out more about the expenses and benefits of company cars on the government website. Make sure you’re renting from a reliable company Cost is important, but so is reliability. It’s vital you’re renting from a company you can trust such as Shelbourne. The car you use for your business is often vital to your earnings. If you rely upon using it to operate parts of your company, such as delivering items to customers and clients, then you need to know if there’s a problem, it will be sorted out quickly. Overall, you should never rush into renting a business car. Always do as much research as possible into the costs, the best models to fit your business and ensure you’re renting from a trustworthy company.

How to Build a Career in Artificial Intelligence

How to Build a Career in Artificial Intelligence The increasing and rapid pace of development in Artificial Intelligence technology has boosted innovation across multiple industries around the World. This has, in the recent years, led to a high demand by companies for skilled experts who can understand, implement and deploy A.I. systems. There is no doubt that the enhancements in A.I. cognitive abilities and ‘machine learning’ have far exceeded the expectations; knowledge management systemsâ€"which can recognize and filter project-oriented information by analyzing all the data on the web and discovering previously unknown solutions for a business, (like for instance anticipating customer preferences)â€" are only the beginning. Despite the fact that there are thousands of job openings available in the A.I. sector, supply is far lower than demand due to lack of skills and qualifications. The AI Companies Apple, Google and IBM are only some of the top AI companies seeking to employ experts in the field, and this expertise is in high demand in almost every industry: from agriculture, healthcare, environment, government, to advertising, transportation, and education among many others. Apart from these IT sector giants, there are also a number of newly-emerged external consultancy companiesâ€"like ExpertSystem, for exampleâ€" which provide artificial intelligence software solutions and consulting to companies that do not have the possibilities of actually hiring A.I. experts or composing an entire team. So, if you have a degree in physics or computer science, there is definitely a spot available. In fact, the only real requirement is a decent background in software engineering. The most important prerequisite for candidates is that they must be problem-solving individuals who are passionate about learning new skills, and who know how to think outside of the box. This is because A.I. innovation requires constant integration of new concepts and the capacity to implement potential innovative ideas. Keeping updated on industry news and latest developments is extremely important and will help you stay on top of the most recent discoveries. Now Is The Time What all of this means is that now is the perfect time to get involved in the A.I. field. It is currently opening doors to a wide variety of careers, across many diverse sectorsâ€"from medical equipment analysts, database analysts and data mining experts and I.T. engineers, to software developers, computer programmers, graphic art designers, architects, algorithm and math experts, cloud technology experts and cyber-security professionals, as well as mechanical, maintenance, manufacturing, electrical and robotics engineers. But to really understand the global impact A.I. is having on numerous areas of human activity, you need look no further than 3-D printers, self-driving cars, robotic waiters and hotel receptionists, as well as online ‘automated assistants’. Just to give further examples of its varied uses, thanks to the integration of A.I./IT into the automotive industry, there are now also self-driving tractors that can be controlled through tablets to do the work of farmers and help them in their daily tasks. Video game developers use A.I. to develop intelligent characteristics in A.I. (non-human) players, while the military uses it for training in drone flying and other simulation purposes. Resume Writing For Students With Little Experience

Resume Writing For Students With Little ExperienceStudents, professionals and other individuals interested in good paying jobs should not overlook the importance of resume writing for students with little experience. There are still plenty of people looking for freshers who have minimal experiences to offer them. Experience should not be a hurdle to getting a job, but with a little effort you can learn how to get any position you apply for, if you're willing to put in the time and effort.Experience is more often than not overrated. Most employers will evaluate a resume based on qualifications, not experience. If you have some experience but are lacking in skill sets, your chances of landing the job increase considerably. This is why you should list all of your skills, as well as the skill sets you are lacking. That way you will be able to highlight all of your skills and even emphasize those that you already possess, without sacrificing what you do not. By not being shy about your ski lls, and the skills you do possess, you will be seen as a great asset to the company you are applying for.A great way to build credibility is to send out multiple resumes. You should be comfortable with yourself and the company you are applying for before going through the trouble of sending out a resume to a dozen or more companies. Keep in mind that many times companies get into contact with an applicant simply because they think that applicant might be a great fit. By sending out several resumes and having a number of companies to contact you, you'll be assured that you will get a callback or call back. When you send out a resume, it is imperative that you do not let anyone see it until you are certain that it has been approved by the company you are applying for. Be aware that a lot of times you will get a reply from the company you are applying for, stating that they have not reviewed your resume yet. When you get that response, take a look at your resume and make sure that you addressed all of the problems that are listed on your resume. In most cases, the prospective employer will take your word for it that you are working at the company and that you are fully qualified for the position you applied for. To be prepared, you should ensure that your resume is complete. Some other things to consider when writing a resume include, how many years you have spent in the industry and what you have done in your current position. Many times people do not realize that it does not really matter what position they have held prior to applying for a position, they will need to address the same skills. You may have moved up through a position within your industry, but you will need to know how to deliver on both the communication and technical skills. Remember that when someone is reviewing resumes, they are not looking for what you did at your previous position, but they are looking for what you will do when hired.A resume is a tool to get a job. So by properly managing t he resume you send out, you will land the first interview you get and bring in the money you need to pay off your student loans. And if you follow the tips outlined above, you'll get that job you've always wanted!

3 Lessons from the Mothers in My Life

3 Lessons from the Mothers in My Life On this Mother’s Day, I’d like to pass on three lessons I’ve learned from the mothers in my life so that they may help you too. Never give up â€" just keep going My grandmother’s motto was “never give up â€" always look forward”. No matter how tough life became, she kept going. She was a relentless survivor to protect her family, and always strived to better their situation. For me, this translates into the ability to bounce back from disappointments and move forward in the face of misfortune. Like my grandmother, we can sail past the natural instinct to wallow in, “why me?” and look ahead at what we can do to improve the situation. How could you and I be more resilient and keep going when things get tough? Be optimistic When I think about what I admire most about my mother, optimism is at the top of the list. She always looks on the bright side. And she has a positive way to frame everything. If we were about to turn away an extra dinner guest because the table was too small, my mother would say, “of course we can fit them in!” And all of a sudden, everyone was moving seats around to make it work. Optimism is contagious. For me, optimism is about having a “can do” attitude. It’s the ability to frame any situation in a positive, constructive way. A way that allows people to find a path forward. This has made me a better leader both at work and at home. Who could you be that optimistic cheerleader for in your life? Don’t worry â€" you’ll find a way My grandmother was fond of saying, “the road may look like it would end in the distance, but when you walk along it, you’ll discover that it continues on and may become wide”. She believed that there would always be a way to get what you need. So, instead of worrying about what would happen, she used her resourcefulness to find a way forward. She always saw opportunities. Like looking at their typewriter and envisioning opening up a typing school. As a worrier, this is an important reminder that my time and energy is much better spent on taking action to explore and tapping into my resourcefulness. Both of these are easier to do when I’m not worrying. How could you let go of worry and allow your creative self to find a way forward? Happy Mother’s Day If not for this holiday, I wouldn’t have been prompted to think about the wisdom from the women in my family and to share them with you. So, Happy Mother’s Day to all the generations of mothers who have come before us. Without them, we wouldn’t be who we are today. Without the generations of mothers who have come before us, we wouldn’t be who we are today. And now, how about you? What have you learned from the mother figures in your life? Leave a comment and pass on the wisdom.
